Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to methods for producing a vehicle wheel from steel plate, having a rim for holding a tyre and a wheel disc which is integrally bonded, frictionally connected and/or interlockingly connected to the rim and which has a connecting region for detachable connection to a hub carrier, said method comprising the steps: providing a steel material for both the rim and the wheel disc; forming a rim and a wheel disc from the respective steel materials, the steel material for the rim and/or the wheel disc being age-hardenable; wherein - before the wheel disc is connected to the rim to form a vehicle wheel, at least one first heat treatment is carried out at least in some regions separately on the rim and/or the wheel disc during forming or after forming; or - after the wheel disc is connected to the rim to form a vehicle wheel, at least one first heat treatment is carried out at least in some regions on the rim and/or the wheel disc when assembled, wherein cooling is carried out after the first heat treatment such that a hardened structure forms, at least in some regions of the age-hardened region, in the age-hardenable steel material of the rim and/or the wheel disc.
