PUSH SWITCH

A push switch of the present invention includes a housing (70); a fixed contact member (50) including a fixed contact (52a), the fixed contact member (50) being placed inside the housing (70); a movable contact member (60) including a movable portion (64), the movable contact member (60) being placed inside the housing (70); a slider (10) that moves in a vertical direction with respect to the housing (70), the slider (10) being placed above the fixed contact member (50) and the movable contact member (60); and an elastic member (30) having a restoring force in a direction in which the slider (10) separates from the housing (70), the elastic member (30) being placed between the housing (70) and the slider (10). In the push switch of the present invention, a movable member (40) is placed between the housing (70) and the slider (10), the movable member (40) being in contact with a part of the slider (10), the movable member (40) being movable as the slider (10) moves, and as the slider (10) is pushed toward the housing (70), the movable member (40) that is in contact with the slider (10) moves, whereby the fixed contact (52a) and the movable portion (64) are separated from each other from a state of being in contact with each other, or the fixed contact (52a) and the movable portion (64) are brought into contact with each other from a state of being separated from each other.
