Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a single-serve capsule for producing a beverage such as coffee or tea in a beverage apparatus which, at its outlet end, is closed by a housing base and, at the opposite, inlet end, forms an opening which is closed by a sheet material, which can be perforated by a device in order for water containing a beverage substrate, granules and/or powder be forced into the capsule interior, wherein the housing base of the capsule has weak points which, in the presence of liquid pressure in the capsule interior, open, break or tear in order to allow liquid to pass from the interior of the capsule to the beverage outlet, and wherein the housing base is covered by a disc-like inner plate, of which the outer periphery has liquid passages through which, in the presence of liquid pressure, the liquid flows from the interior of the capsule to the weak points of the base.
