Zusammenfassung:	A method of cleaning a recoater (14) of an additive manufacturing machine (10) includes installing a cleaning fixture (20) into the additive manufacturing machine (10), the cleaning fixture (20) including one or more cleaning elements (22), advancing the recoater (14) into contact with the one or more cleaning elements (22), and rotating the recoater (14) about a recoater axis (16) thus dislodging material from a recoater outer surface due to frictional contact with the one or more cleaning elements (22).
