CARBON DIOXIDE RECOVERY

Carbon dioxide is separated from flue gas by scrubbing the gas with an aqueous solution of ammonia and salt, and the CO2is therefore released from the solution by heating. The scrubbing step is performed with a co-current stream of an aqueous solution of ammonia and a salt.
