Zusammenfassung:A brushless electrical machine, in particular a brushless direct current motor, includes a housing, a shaft rotatably mounted in the housing, at least one rotor mounted on the shaft, a stator fixed to the housing, and a rotor position-detecting device. The rotor position-detecting device operates in a contactless manner and is associated with the rotor. The rotor position-detecting device has a multipole magnet ring rotationally fixed on the shaft and at least one sensor which is sensitive to magnetic fields and which is radially associated with the outer periphery of the magnet ring.
