INCUBATOR

An incubator comprising a mattress tray (16)to accommodate an infant laid thereon; an incubator base (15) on which the mattress tray (16) is disposed; at least one outer wall section (23, 24, 25, 26) that is configured to surround a vicinity of the outer periphery of the mattress tray (16); a bearing member (64) that is disposed in either one of the incubator base (15) or the at least one outer wall section (23, 24, 25, 26); and a swing support shaft (30) that is disposed in the other of the incubator base (15) or the at least one outer wall section (23, 24, 25, 26), the swing support shaft (30) being configured to move back and forth in a substantial axial direction of the swing support shaft (30) relative to the at least one outer wall section (23, 24, 25, 26); and an operation member (45) for operating the swing support shaft (30), the operation member (45) is configured such that the operation member (45) is placed into a state in which substantially linear forward movement is allowed as a result of the operation member (45) being turned in one way, and the swing support shaft (30) is unlatched from the bearing member (64) as a result of substantially linearly moving the operation member (45) forward in this state.
