The invention relates to a cross-country set comprising a cross-country attachment (1) and a cross-country shoe (2). In order to connect a cross-country shoe (2) to a cross-country ski (3) in an articulated manner, the cross-country attachment (1) is provided with the following: - an attachment main part (4) which has a standing surface (5) for a sole (6) of the cross-country shoe (2) and a ski support surface (22) for at least indirectly supporting on the cross-country ski (3), and - a holding device (7) which has a receiving area for arranging the cross-country shoe (2) in a pivotal manner about a pivot axis running in the transverse direction of the attachment main part (4), wherein - the standing surface (5) has a toe section (5a) which adjoins the holding device (7) and a ball section (5b) which adjoins the toe section (5b), and - the toe section of the standing surface (5) of the attachment main part (4) has a greater distance to the ski support surface (22) than the ball section (5b) such that the sole (6) of the cross-country shoe (2) is arranged at a distance from the ball section (5b) in an unloaded state when standing on the toe section (5a) and is in contact with the ball section (5b) in a loaded state.
