Zusammenfassung:The present invention discloses a shutter assembly (122) for a spreader assembly (100). The spreader assembly (100) includes a hopper (102) adapted to contain a material. The hopper (102) includes a feed opening (130) for selectively discharging the material. The spreader assembly (100) further includes a pair of wheels (108) connected to the hopper (102). The spreader assembly (100) further includes a roller (104) rotatably connected to the pair of wheels (108). The spreader assembly (100) further includes a shutter assembly (122) movably disposed on the hopper (102). The shutter assembly (122) includes a body portion (154) having at least one longitudinal recess (156) and a resilient member (184) disposed at the longitudinal recess (156) of the body portion (154). The resilient member (184) is adapted to selectively slide on the hopper (102) to close the feed opening (130).
