Zusammenfassung:	A housing (10) for an electric machine is provided and includes an inner wall portion (11) and an outer wall portion (12), wherein the inner wall portion (11) and the outer wall portion (12) are concentrically arranged with each other and spaced apart from each other. A hollow space (16) defined by the inner wall portion (11) and the outer wall portion (12) in the radial direction (13) is configured between the inner wall portion (11) and the outer wall portion (12) and is used for fluid cooling of a motor. The space has channels (17) spaced apart in the circumferential direction (15). The housing (10) has a feeding portion (18) for feeding the cooling fluid and a discharge portion (19) for discharging the cooling fluid, wherein connection regions (20, 201, 202) are formed between the feeding portion (18) and the discharging portion (19) and between adjacent channels (17), and are used for directing the cooling fluid between the adjacent channels (17).
