Zusammenfassung:	A separation portion (52) of an oil separator (50) is located upward from an opening (43b1) of a second blow-by gas passage portion (43b) in an outer surface (11b1) of a cylinder block (11). A connection passage (54) connects the separation portion (52) and the second blow-by gas passage portion (43b). At least part of the connection passage (54) located toward the second blow-by gas passage portion (43b) serves as a first passage portion (54a). The second blow-by gas passage portion (43b) and the first passage portion (54a) serve as an intermediate passage (60). A step (62) is arranged in the intermediate passage (60) at an intermediate portion with respect to an extension direction of the intermediate passage (60).
