Zusammenfassung:	In order to transversely reinforce a clamping frame (21) in a simple manner in an operating position (A) in a joining station (2), a coupling piece (52) having a coupling guide piece (53) is arranged on a stationary support structure (51) of the joining station (2), and at least one reinforcement support (54) is arranged on the clamping frame (21); the free end of the reinforcement support (54) is equipped with an openable and closable reinforcement locking unit (55) which, in the operating position (A), is closed and engages the coupling guide piece (53).
