Zusammenfassung:	The present subject matter provides a control system (200) with a machine controller (202) including at least one voltage boost circuit (206). It is capable of receiving at least one output value of operational torque or of operational speed of said internal combustion engine (135) through sensors (208). The output value is compared to a pre-determined value for triggering a voltage boost circuit (206) when at least one of the output values of the operational torque or the operational speed is higher than corresponding predetermined threshold value. The voltage boost circuit (206) increases the voltage supplied to the electrical machine (101) limiting the operational torque of the internal combustion engine (135) below a preset threshold value of the operational torque. This provides assistance to the internal combustion engine (135) for starting and during high speed operations by achieving reduction in emissions.
