The colon-targeted composition of a biological active component comprises in weight percentage: 10-99% hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, 1-60% biological active component and 0-80% auxiliary material, wherein the viscosity of hydroxypropyl methylcellulose is greater than 1,000 mPa·s. The colon-targeted composition of a biological active component has an improved colon-targeted effect and improves the bioavailability and in vivo activity of the biological active component.
