Zusammenfassung:	The present invention describes a generator (100) for a wind turbine (1), a direct drive wind turbine, and a method for manufacturing a generator (100) for a wind turbine (1). The generator (100) comprises a rotor (120), and a stator (110), wherein the stator (110) comprises a first radial side (143) and a second radial side (144) which is opposite of the first radial side (143), and wherein the rotor (120) is arranged adjacent to the first radial side (143). The generator (100) further comprises a flow distribution element (130) which is arranged adjacent to the second radial side (144) such that a circumferential flow channel (133) is formed between the flow distribution element (130) and the second radial side (144).
