Zusammenfassung:	A thrust bearing (200) for use with a rotary valve (100) is provided. The thrust bearing (200) includes a journal portion and a thrust portion. The journal portion is sized to be disposed between a valve body (104) of the rotary valve (100) and a drive shaft (112) of the rotary valve (100). The thrust portion is sized to be disposed between the valve body (104) and a control member (108) disposed within the valve body (104) and movable relative to a valve seat (136) disposed within the valve body (104) via a drive shaft (112) to control fluid flow through the valve body (104). The thrust portion includes a flat surface adapted to engage a corresponding flat surface of the valve body (104) when the bearing (200) is subject to a combined thrust and torsional load via the drive shaft (112), such that the bearing (200) can accommodate the combined thrust and torsional load.
