Zusammenfassung:	A method of preparing a retort packaging article includes: includes applying an ink to an outer surface of a sealable packaging and overlaying a substantially transparent lamination layer over the ink to envelope at least a portion of the sealable packaging. The ink includes a binder that includes a polyurethane resin that contains an elastomer which is a reaction product of a polyol and polyalkylene glycol with an isocyanate. The elastomer may be chain extended with a diamine or a diol.
