Zusammenfassung:	Included are a light source 10 capable of emitting infrared light by switching the infrared light between pulsed light and continuous light, and a wavelength conversion element 50 for wavelength-converting infrared light having an intensity equal to or higher than a first threshold value into visible light. The pulsed light has an intensity equal to or higher than the first threshold value. The continuous light has an intensity less than the first threshold value. Laser light including infrared light is emitted via the wavelength conversion element 50. The pulsed light is thereby emitted when an irradiation position of the laser light is confirmed, and the continuous light is emitted at the time of processing with laser light. As a result, visible light is emitted when an irradiation position of laser light is confirmed, and a processing object is irradiated with laser light in which wavelength conversion into visible light is suppressed at the time of processing with laser light.
