Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a method of detecting the winding of clothes in a laundry drier (1) with a clothes roller (2) that can rotate horizontally. According to the method, when the clothes roller (2) rotates, the change of the resistance of the clothes (W) in the clothes roller (2) is recorded as time passes; the time change process is converted into a frequency mode (P1-P4); at least one time sequence of the frequency position (f1) of the frequency peak (P1) of the frequency mode (P1-P4) is monitored; and when the frequency change ([delta]f) of at least one monitored frequency position (P1)reaches a predetermined parameter (S), people can judge that winding of clothes (W) happens in the clothes roller. The laundry drier (1) is provided with a method for executing any one of the claimsmentioned above.
