Zusammenfassung:	In a massage head (1) comprising a housing (4), a flexible massage element (3) with a massage surface, and a coupling element (5) which is connectable in terms of drive to a drive element, a plurality of massage members (7) are provided which are arranged so as to be movable in at least one direction from a first position to a second position and, in the second position, interact with the massage element (3) for local excursion of the massage surface, and the coupling element (5), in the driven state, interacts with the plurality of massage members (7) in such a way that the massage members (7) are moved from the first position to the second position in a manner staggered in time in relation to each other.
