Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a bucket for wringing the strands (47) of a mop (44) having flexible, absorbent strands, said bucket comprising a cavity (26) for receiving the strands of the mop (44) and a main opening (68) through which the strands can be inserted into and removed from the cavity (26). The bucket is characterised in that it comprises a projection (31) located opposite the main opening (68), said projection (31): extending towards the main opening (68), and being arranged to guide the strands (47) towards a peripheral side portion of the cavity (26) that extends between the projection (31) and the main opening (68). The bucket is also characterised in that the cavity (26) comprises a narrowed confinement section such that the strands of the mop can be confined in the cavity (26).
