Zusammenfassung:	The present disclosure provides an adjusting device that can effectively adjust luminance of video. The adjusting device includes an acquisition unit that acquires a non-linear first video signal generated using a first opto-electronic transfer function (OETF), a converter that performs conversion processing of converting the first video signal acquired by the acquisition unit into a non-linear second video signal obtained (i) by converting the first video signal into a linear signal using an inverse characteristic of the first OETF, (ii) by performing adjusting processing including a gain change in which a relationship between an input value and an output value becomes linear on the linear signal, and (iii) by converting a post-adjustment linear signal obtained by performing the adjusting processing using a second OETF corresponding to a predetermined format, and an output unit that outputs the second video signal obtained by a conversion performed by the converter.
