Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to an air inlet housing (1), notably for a motor vehicle heating, ventilation and/or air-conditioning installation, comprising: - at least one air inlet, - at least one air outlet (21), and - a volute (17): ·configured to accept an impeller of a motorised fan unit, the said impeller being configured to draw in a stream of air coming from an air inlet, and ·having a contour beginning with a volute nose (19) and evolving as far as the air outlet (21). According to the invention, - the air inlet housing (1) further comprises at least one deflector (29) extending from the volute nose (19) in the continuation of a wall (18) of the volute (17), and - the deflector (29) has a tapering shape. The invention also relates to a heating, ventilation and/or air-conditioning installation comprising such an air inlet housing (1).
