Zusammenfassung:	A device 20 for centrifuging and stirring samples in a centrifuging configuration. The device 20 is also intended to assume a stirring configuration. The device 20 comprises a single drive shaft 21 intended to produce the movement for centrifuging or stirring the samples about an axis of rotation Y-Y. This device 20 also comprises at least one sample holder 24 and means for switching from one configuration to the other by means of a rotation of said drive shaft about the axis Y-Y, intended to transform the rotation of the drive shaft 21 into rotations of the sample holder 24 about an axis Y'-Y' parallel to the axis Y-Y and about an axis R-R orthogonal to the axis Y-Y.
