PROCEDURE FOR COORDINATED RANDOM ACCESS TO A WIRELESS COMMUNICATION NETWORK

An access point of a wireless communication network to which a plurality of terminals are connected transmits frames triggering coordinated random access procedure, thus offering an opportunity of access to the medium of the wireless communication network for each terminal for which this frame is intended. Each terminal that seizes the opportunity for access to the medium performs an OFDMA uplink transmission in response to said frame.
