A rotor arresting device for a wind turbine having a rotor and a rotation assembly which is connected to the rotor in a rotationally rigid manner, comprising at least one coupling device which can be arranged on a static assembly, which is positionally fixed relative to the rotation assembly, of the wind turbine, having a first actuator, a second actuator, and a coupling element which is connected to the first and the second actuator, and a counterpart coupling element which can be arranged on the rotation assembly, wherein the coupling element and the counterpart coupling element are releasably connected, preferably in a form-fitting manner, in an arresting position of the coupling device.
