Zusammenfassung:	Disclosed are a mobile terminal formed to be wearable on a user's wrist, and a method for controlling the same. The mobile terminal includes: a band formed to be wearable on a user's wrist and to enclose the user's wrist; a first body connected to the band; a second body formed to be detachably mounted to the first body; and a processor provided at the second body, and configured to sense a separated state of the second body from the first body, wherein if the separated second body is mounted to an external device, the processor executes a different function based on a type of the external device.
