Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a method for producing a traffic route lighting device (10, 12) for illuminating a traffic route (14), said device emitting light having a predefined light distribution for illuminating the traffic route (14), wherein the predefined light distribution is determined in accordance with the EN-13201 standard, wherein an optical unit and an illuminant for achieving the predefined light distribution are selected and the traffic route lighting device (10, 12) is produced with the selected optical unit and the selected illuminant, wherein the following steps are supplementarily carried out for determining the light distribution: - providing a grid (24) comprising the test points (20) and having grid lines (26, 28), wherein the grid lines (26, 28) form grid points (30) of the grid (24) at intersection locations, - defining an illuminance to be provided for the traffic route (14) at the grid points (30), - defining an interpolation (32) for the illuminance between two adjacent grid points (30), - determining the light distribution depending on the illuminance between the two grid points (30).
