Zusammenfassung:	A method and a device for treating dough, in particular for producing pizza bases, wherein a piece of dough is applied on a support, in particular an abutment or a conveyor belt, and pressure is applied to the piece of dough by means of a pressure stamp, which includes a number of concentrically arranged press rings so that the dough flows. The press rings are extended one after the other outwardly in a staggered manner from the center of the press rings in the direction of the support such that the surface of the piece of dough is increased.
