Zusammenfassung: | The modular structure resolves the common problems of lightweight modular construction formed by metal panels, problems such as overheating due to sun exposure, the lack of thermal inertia and buckling. The modular structure comprises a succession of metal panels (1) joined together by pairs of opposite sides. It includes a channelling system that serves as reinforcement against buckling, and which also allows a fluid to circulate through the envelope of the building, improving the structural and passive behaviour of the building formed. The temperature reached by solar radiation on metal covers and facades can thus be redistributed between all of them, used or accumulated to prevent overheating and improved the thermal stability thereof. The simplified construction of especially lightweight buildings is possible with several modular structures, correcting the lack of thermal inertia thereof and thereby improving the passive behaviour thereof. |
