Zusammenfassung:Disclosed are a mobile terminal and a method of controlling the same. In the mobile terminal, when battery off is detected, a predetermined card is recharged with a predetermined amount before a super-power saving payment mode is entered. Furthermore, when the amount of remaining battery power is a specific threshold or more, the super-power saving payment mode is terminated and a recharged amount is refunded. An amount of a recharged amount used for payment in the super-power saving payment mode may be subjected to deferred payment. Accordingly, a mobile payment function can be smoothly performed in an emergency situation in which the battery is off. Furthermore, in the super-power saving payment mode, security can be enhanced through a local authentication method.
