The engine 110 is mounted to at least one of a wing 112 or fuselage of an aircraft 102. The intake 120 is configured to provide air to the engine 110. The intake 120 includes a body 122 having an engine inlet 124 through which air enters the intake 120. The propeller assembly 130 includes propeller blades 140 coupled to and driven by the engine 110. The propeller assembly 130 is spaced an axial distance from the inlet opening 124 of the intake 120 wherein air passing by the propeller blades 140 enters the intake 120. The propeller assembly 130 has a propeller configuration that is at least one of sized or shaped to optimize performance of the propeller assembly 130 based on an interaction between the propeller assembly 130 and the intake 120. |
