Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a cleaning system for cleaning surfaces, in particular floors, of rooms, comprising at least one cleaning device (20, 112) which is manually operated by a user (18); multiple cleaning elements (42, 122), wherein a cleaning element (42, 122) can be held on the at least one cleaning device (20, 112) in a replaceable manner; a localization device (48) for ascertaining when the user (18) together with the at least one cleaning device (20, 112) is changing or has changed from one room (12) to another room (12); and an indicator unit (68) which is coupled to the localization device in order to provide an indication to the user (18) that the cleaning element (42, 122) on the at least one cleaning device (20, 112) is to be replaced.
