Zusammenfassung:A detection system (100, 300) is provided. The detection system (100, 300) includes a sensing device (110, 310) and a controller (120, 320). The sensing device (110, 310) is within an elevator (102, 302) and in communication (111, 311) with the controller (120, 320). The sensing device (110, 310) continuously monitors sound waves (105, 305) within the elevator (102, 302) and communicates the sound waves (105, 305) as electrical signals to the controller (120, 320). The controller (120, 320) operates the elevator (102, 302) and analyses the sound waves (105, 305) received as the electrical signals from the sensing device (110, 310) to detect an emergency condition within the elevator (102, 302).
