Zusammenfassung:	Various embodiments may include a method and/or arrangement for assigning the spatial position to a device, in particular in the context of the commissioning of the device (e.g. field device, actuator, sensor), wherein a positioning system is used to determine the spatial position of a mobile communication terminal located in the spatial vicinity of the device. The mobile communication terminal (e.g. smartphone) is configured to transmit the spatial position to the device and such that the transmission of the spatial position from the mobile communication terminal to the device only takes place when the device has been identified as an authorized receiver prior to transmission.
