Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a process for preparing a product containing an iron phosphate, wherein a) an aqueous alkali polyphosphate solution is produced; b) iron(lll)-pyrophosphate is added as a solid or as a moist filter cake to the aqueous alkali polyphosphate solution under stirring; c) the obtained product consisting of the alkali polyphosphate solution and the iron(lll)-pyrophosphate is dried to obtain a powder or a granulate.
