Zusammenfassung:	The present invention provides a leakage detection cable and a method for manufacturing the same, and the leakage detection cable detects a leaking liquid and includes: an electric wire core which includes one or more conductive wires, and a sheath layer that covers the one or more conductive wires; a detection unit which is coupled in a longitudinal direction of a surface of the electric wire core; and a first braided layer which is braided with non-conductive fibers and covers the detection unit, in which the detection unit has a predetermined resistance value that is proportional to a length, and reacts with the liquid such that an output electric current value is changed.
