Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a composite panel member (1) for an airframe (100) of an aircraft or spacecraft, the composite panel member (1) having a laminated or sandwich structure (3) comprising a first outer layer (4) extending over a first side (5) of the panel member (1), a second outer layer (6) extending over a second side (7) of the panel member (1), a core layer (8) between the first and second outer layers (4, 6), and at least one support element (9) configured as an electrical conductor and provided in the core layer (8) between the first and second outer layers (4, 6), wherein the at least one support element (9) extends within the core layer (8) substantially parallel to the first and second outer layers (4, 6).
