SPRAY BOOM ASSEMBLY

A spray boom assembly (112) for spraying a fluid on an underlying surface is disclosed. The spray boom assembly (112), comprising: a center frame (114, 804) and a left and right boom (120, 122), each coupled to the center frame (114, 804), each boom (120, 122) comprising a first boom frame (126, 128, 130, 132, 134, 136, 806, 808, 810); a spray pipe (818, 820, 822, 824) coupled to the first boom frame (126, 128, 130, 132, 134, 136, 806, 808, 810), the spray pipe (818, 820, 822, 824) being in fluid communication with a fluid source for supplying fluid to be sprayed on a target; an actuator (826) coupled to the center frame (114, 804) and/or the first boom frame (126, 128, 130, 132, 134, 136, 806, 808, 810), the actuator (826) being operably controlled between an extended position and a retracted position; a tube assembly coupled to the first boom frame (126, 128, 130, 132, 134, 136, 806, 808, 810), the tube assembly comprising a first tube (834) and a second tube (836), the second tube (836) being telescopically coupled to the first tube (834); and a nozzle configured to spray the fluid on the target, the nozzle being coupled to the second tube (836); wherein, the second tube (836) is coupled to the actuator (826) such that as the actuator (826) moves between its extended position and retracted position, the second tube (836) moves relative to the first tube (834).
