The invention relates to a print head of a binary continuous jet printer comprising: - means for producing a plurality of ink jets in a cavity (5), delimited by a 1 st wall, also called the upper wall (2) and a 2 nd wall, also called the lower wall (21), and by lateral walls (9, 10), - means (6) for separating drops or sections intended for printing from drops or sections that do not serve for printing, - a slot (17), which passes through the 2 nd wall (21), enabling the exit of ink drops intended for printing, - a gutter (70) for recovering drops or sections not intended for printing, comprising: * a 1 st part, which comprises an inlet slot, the width of which diminishing in the sense of circulation of the drops in the gutter; * a restriction (38), the 1 st part being sloping from the inlet slot to the restriction; * a 2 nd part, for evacuating a gas, or a gas and liquid mixture, the gutter having, in a plane perpendicular to axis X, the same shape over a distance extending, according to axis X, from the first nozzle (4 1 ) the last nozzle (4n).
