Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates, inter alia, to a method for installing a gas-insulated electrical transmission line in a tunnel (20), wherein in the method, a plurality of line modules (40) are assembled to form the transmission line. According to the invention, in a pre-fabrication step, groups of line modules (40) are connected to form strand segments (400), the prefabricated strand segments (400) are transported to their individually predetermined installation locations within the tunnel (20), and the two strand ends of the strand segments (400) are each connected in the tunnel (20) to the respective strand ends of the strand segments (400) located in front and behind thereof.
