HEAD UP DISPLAY FOR VEHICLE

According to an embodiment of the present invention, a head up display for a vehicle comprises: an image device for emitting linear polarized light in a first direction, and linear polarized light in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction; a reflection mirror for reflecting light with a wind shield of a vehicle; a polarized light reflection mirror disposed at the rear of the reflection mirror to reflect the linear polarized light in the first direction, and through which the linear polarized light of the second direction penetrates; a first phase retardance mirror spaced apart from the polarized light reflection mirror and converting the linear polarized light of the second direction penetrated through the polarized light reflection mirror to the linear polarized light of the first direction to reflect to the polarized light reflection mirror; and a second phase retardance mirror spaced from the polarized light reflection mirror at the rear of the polarized light reflection mirror and converting the linear polarized light of the first direction reflected to the rear direction from the polarized light reflection mirror to the linear polarized light of the second direction to reflect to the polarized light reflection mirror, thereby capable of forming two virtual images having different distances with a simple structure.
