Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to a projection apparatus (1) for projecting a virtual image in a motor vehicle (I), said projection apparatus having a housing (12), in which a light production apparatus (8) and an image production unit (10) for producing the virtual image from the light emitted by the light production apparatus (8) are arranged, wherein the housing (12) has an aperture (14) through which the virtual image can be radiated out of the housing (12) to an external mirror (6), arranged at the housing (12), of the projection apparatus (1), wherein the aperture (14) is covered by a light-transmissive cover (13) and a light-opaque stop (15) is arranged at an angle (α) to the cover (13) and at least adjacent to the cover (13). The invention also relates to a motor vehicle (I) having a projection apparatus (1).
