Zusammenfassung:	The invention is directed to a photovoltaic roadway assembly, to a method of assembling the photovoltaic roadway assembly, and to a method of replacing one or more photovoltaic modules in the photovoltaic roadway assembly. The photovoltaic roadway assembly of the invention comprises a) a support with a convex surface having a curvature in a direction perpendicular to the driving direction of said roadway; and b) one or more photovoltaic modules adapted for assembly with the support, wherein said one or more photovoltaic modules are assembled to said support with two or more alignment profiles, said alignment profiles comprising mechanical releasable fixings for fastening the photovoltaic module to the support and straining the one or more photovoltaic modules over the convex surface of the support.
