ARRANGEMENT FOR DETERMINING THE FILL LEVEL OF THE LIQUID IN THE CARPULE

The invention relates to an arrangement for determining the fill level of the liquid in the carpule 10 carried by a carpule holder, wherein the carpule holder carries a carpule, wherein the carpule 10 contains a liquid, in particular an active agent, wherein the carpule 10 has a piston by means of which the liquid situated therein can be discharged through an outlet opening, wherein, in the region of the outlet opening of the carpule 10, there is provided a carrier 13 which bears a septum 12 which can be pierced by a needle 16, which carrier fixes the septum 12 in front of the outlet opening of the carpule 10 such that the septum 12 closes off the carpule 10, wherein a measuring circuit 21 for measuring the capacitance in the region of the carpule 10 is provided for determining the content of the liquid in the carpule 10, wherein a conductive, in particular metallic, shield element 14, 15 is provided so as to surround the septum 12. According to the invention, it is provided that the shield element 14, 15 is connected to the measuring circuit 21 and has applied to it a potential which is predefined in relation to a reference potential of the measuring circuit 21 or in relation to an excitation voltage, used for the measurement, of the measuring circuit 21.
