OSCILLATING TOOL

An oscillating power hand tool comprises a clamp arrangement for securing an accessory to the power hand tool. The clamp arrangement comprises a clamp assembly, the clamp assembly including a first clamp member and a second clamp member. The first clamp member is arranged to be moved relative to the second clamp member, and the second clamp member has a first portion that opposes the first clamp member and is arranged to cooperate with the first clamp member to clamp the accessory between the first and second clamp members. The first clamp member is configured to translate relative to an axis of a fastener of the clamp assembly and relative to the second clamp member upon rotation of the first clamp member. The configuration is such that a rotation of the first clamp member in a first direction causes the first clamp member to translate toward the second clamp member into a closed or clamped position, and a rotation of the first clamp member in a second, opposite, direction causes the first clamp member to translate away from the second clamp member into a fully open or unclamped position.
