CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY

A connector (20) and a connector assembly (10, 20) capable of being shifted to an unmated state without any unlocking operation except a lever (23) operation. With a first-half turning operation of a lever (23) in a fully mated state, an interlock busbar (26) is extracted from an interlock connector (13) to remove short circuit of two first conducting wires (131), the lever (23) is operated to slide, and with a second-half turning operation of the lever (23), releasing protrusions (214) are made to get into a clip spring (24) to open the clip spring (24) by moving an outer housing (21) in a direction of unmating while pushing catching protrusions (221) in a direction of mating with a mating connector (10) to block an inner housing (22) from moving in the direction of unmating.
