Zusammenfassung:An object would be to propose an infrared detector and a light shielding plate which can have an expanded detection area and adjust extent of the detection area. An infrared detector (100) includes: a plurality of infrared sensors (2); a plurality of infrared transmitting members (3); a housing (4); and a light shielding plate (9). The plurality of infrared transmitting members (3) are arranged one-by-one in front of the plurality of infrared sensors (2). The housing (4) accommodates the plurality of infrared sensors (2) and supports the plurality of infrared transmitting members (3). The light shielding plate (9) shields infrared light. The light shielding plate (9) is detachably attached to the housing (4) to overlap at least one infrared transmitting member (3) of the plurality of infrared transmitting members (3).
