REMOTE MONITORING SYSTEM, CENTRAL DATA COLLECTION DEVICE, FIELD DATA COLLECTION DEVICE, REMOTE MONITORING METHOD, AND PROGRAM

A remote monitoring system (1) comprising field data collection devices (210, 220, 230) arranged in site areas (A, B, C) in which monitored devices are arranged, said field data collection devices collecting data strings output by the monitored devices in accordance with the operation states thereof; and a central data collection device (10) that collects data string from the field data collection devices (210, 220, 230). The field data collection devices (210, 220, 230) comprise: field data string storage units (211, 221, 231) that accumulate above-described store data strings; and overlap control units (215, 225, 235) that sequentially read, as accumulated data group, data strings having a prescribed record length among the accumulated and stored data strings, sequentially reading same so as to mutually overlap, and sequentially sending accumulated data groups to the central data collection device (10).
