Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to a vehicle, comprising a drive unit (1), which is connected to an automatic transmission (5) in a driving manner, by means of which automatic transmission a drive torque can be output to the vehicle wheels, a control device (7), which controls the drive unit (1) to a target torque (MSoll) specified by the driver by actuating an accelerator pedal (9), and a transmission control unit (15), which triggers at least a first and a second gear shift (R8/7, R7/6) in the automatic transmission (1) during acceleration travel in driving operation, each of which gear shifts occurs at an accelerator pedal position (sA, sB) with the accelerator pedal (9) partially pressed, which accelerator pedal position (sA, sB) varies over the available accelerator pedal displacement path (s) in accordance with the current driving state. According to the invention, a signal-generating unit (9) is associated with the vehicle, by means of which signal-generating unit feedback (A) about imminent triggering of the first gear shift (R8/7) can be generated for the driver. After the first gear shift (R8/7) has been triggered, the generation of feedback (B) about the imminent triggering of the second or following gear shifts (R7/6) is suppressed.
